Details of the Job

A leading mobile operator in Uganda in the telecommunications sector. The person needs to start on Monday12, 2010.

COMPANY is currently using SOA for management of the transmission. SOA is end of life and also does not support the new Ericsson nodes or new software versions of existing nodes. therefore we offered SoEM to COMPANY.

What we expect from this Solution Analysis is: How to introduce SoEM into the current DCN. SOA will also have to remain as we still have some very old nodes e.g MS1C, MS1/4, ONUs that will not be supported on SoEM. Migration strategy as nodes will have to be migrated off the SOA to SoEM. These include the OMS1600, OMS1200, MDRS (155EC), SMA16.

Strategy on how to manage the network off 2 different platforms SOA and SoEM. (e.g Virtual Subnetworks) Please note: There could be more activities required as we have not implemented SoEM before here but this was to explain the current situation in COMPANY so that you can understand what will be involved.

Requirements:
Must be Ugandan local.
Experience working in the Telecommunications companies
Experience in Transmission, OMS, DCN, MDRS and SOA

Contract is 1 month, starting Monday.
